In addition to the main International HBV Meeting 2026, three satellite events will take place on the opening day, September 6, 2026. The Hepatitis B Foundation will host both an Emerging Researchers’ Workshop and a Community Forum, aimed at sharing the latest advances in HBV research with the general public. Attendance at the Community Forum is free of charge.

ICE-HBV will also host the ICE-HBV Symposium on the same day.

The main meeting will officially commence on the evening of September 6, 2026, with a Welcome Reception featuring drinks and a light dinner served from Asian food stations.

An emerging fellow is a scientist/researcher with 5 years or less of post-doctorate experience, who does not work independently and is not the "Principal Investigator" on grants.
Early Bird registration payment is due in full on May 31, 2026. If payment is not received on or before May 31st, your registration will switch to Emerging Fellow regular registration and your rate will increase.

Academic/Clinical Researchers are scientists and researchers working for a non-profit organization such as a hospital, university lab, or research facility.
Early Bird registration payment is due in full on May 31, 2026. If payment is not received on or before May 31st, your registration will switch to Academic/Clinical Researcher regular registration and your rate will increase.

Industry/Pharmaceutical members are those who work in for-profit businesses such as providers of medical services and products, biotechnology companies, pharmaceutical companies, and companies who offer services and products to academic and research companies and institutions.
Early Bird registration payment is due in full on May 31, 2026. If payment is not received on or before May 31st, your registration will switch to  Industry/Pharmaceutical regular registration and your rate will increase.

Retired Researcher: To encourage continued participation, registration fees are waived for retired HBV researchers who spent the majority of their careers in academia.

A nominal USD 150 fee applies to cover catering (food and refreshments during the meeting). Travel, accommodation, and banquet costs are not covered. Additional support may be provided at the discretion of the meeting organizers, typically for retirees with a formal role (e.g., keynote speaker).

Researchers whose careers were primarily in industry are not eligible. Eligibility questions will be handled by the Scientific Advisory Council (SAC).

*This waiver does not include expenses for travel, housing, or the end-of-meeting banquet when the banquet fee is not bundled into the registration fee. 

Meeting Content 

Due to the confidential nature of the research presented at the International HBV Meeting, there will be no online streaming or on-demand access to sessions. While we understand the value of sharing knowledge and insights beyond the Meeting, we must prioritize the protection of proprietary data, unpublished findings, and ongoing research endeavors. Abstract content will only be available through the abstract book and oral and poster sessions. The attendee app can be used to view the agenda, connect with fellow attendees and review session details, but there will not be any virtual streaming or on demand access. As such, there is a strict policy against recording or disseminating any content from the presentations, workshops or discussions held during the Meeting. 

In an effort to reduce our carbon footprint, we will be offering the abstract book to attendees in a digital format to ALL attendees at no cost. However, if you would still prefer to receive a printed copy, please opt in below. A fee of $15 per book will be required. Please note: Printed abstract books will NOT be available for purchase onsite in Singapore.
